Self Sufficiency

The Chelsea Housing Authority runs two self-sufficiency programs for our residents. These programs are amazing programs offered to residents who strive to become more self-sufficient and independent. These programs works with support agencies throughout Massachusetts to help families develop strengths, skills, and experiences necessary to achieve economic independence.

The Federal Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program is designed for Federal Public Housing and Section 8 residents. More information can be found here
